Role Summary
We are looking for a results-driven and consultative Cybersecurity Sales professional to drive enterprise growth for NIIT’s cybersecurity offerings.
This role goes beyond traditional sales and requires a blend of solution selling + offering ownership + GTM execution. You will engage with enterprise clients to identify cybersecurity capability gaps, close high-value deals, and own the creation and evolution of scalable cybersecurity offerings based on market needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycle:
- Lead generation → discovery → proposal → closure
- Own and deliver revenue targets for cybersecurity offerings
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across key accounts
2. Solution Selling
- Understand client challenges in:
- Cybersecurity talent shortages
- Workforce readiness
- Regulatory and risk requirements
- Position NIIT offerings as end-to-end cybersecurity talent solutions
- Customize solutions across:
- SOC (L1–L3 roles)
- IAM / Identity Security
- Cloud Security
- GRC
3. Customer Advisory & Insight Mining
- Engage with senior stakeholders:
- CISOs
- CIOs / CTOs
- L&D / HR leaders
- Conduct consultative discussions to identify capability gaps
- Capture recurring patterns, market demand signals, and client insights
4. Offering Development & Ownership (CRITICAL)
- Own the creation of initial cybersecurity offerings and solution bundles based on client demand
- Translate market insights into:
- Structured, repeatable cybersecurity solutions
- Industry-specific talent pathways (SOC, IAM, Cloud, GRC)
- Define:
- Solution constructs
- Use-case based offerings
- Value propositions
- Drive:
- Solution templates
- Pitch frameworks
- Case-led narratives
- Standardization and scalability of offerings across accounts
- Creation of reusable:
- Continuously refine and evolve offerings based on:
- Deal learnings
- Customer feedback
- Market trends
5. GTM Strategy & Market Positioning
- Help define:
- Sharper market entry propositions
- Industry-specific GTM narratives
- Develop:
- Sales playbooks
- Pitch decks and proposals
- Support high-value deals through strong solution positioning
6. Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with:
- Delivery teams
- Product/content teams
- Institutional partnerships teams
- Ensure smooth transition from:
- Sale → Solution → Delivery
- Act as a bridge between:
- Market demand and internal capability creation
Required Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
- 6–15 years of experience in:
- Cybersecurity sales / presales / solution selling roles
- Proven track record of:
- Enterprise deal closures and revenue achievement
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains:
- SOC
- IAM
- Cloud Security
- GRC
- Experience working with:
- Enterprise / BFSI / IT / Govt clients
Good to Have
- Experience in:
- Building or owning solution offerings / GTM initiatives
- Exposure to:
- Creating reusable or scalable solution constructs
- Experience selling:
- Training / L&D / certification programs
- Managed security services or consulting
