About the Role

NIIT Ltd. seeks an innovative and employee-focused Internal Communications Manager to drive our internal communication strategies and foster a culture of engagement and transparency. This role is pivotal in aligning our workforce with NIIT’s vision and objectives while amplifying our organizational culture and brand values.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven internal communication strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Foster employee engagement by delivering timely, transparent, and impactful messaging.
  • Act as a bridge between leadership and employees, ensuring clarity and alignment on organizational priorities.
  • Enhance employer branding by supporting employee advocacy and storytelling initiatives.
  • Leverage cutting-edge communication tools and multimedia platforms to deliver high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage content for newsletters, intranet updates, videos, annual reports and other internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership and department heads to craft messages that resonate with diverse employee groups.
  • Track and analyze employee engagement metrics to refine communication strategies.
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure internal communications align with the organization’s external brand identity.
  • Facilitate virtual town halls, webinars, and employee forums to encourage dialogue and feedback.
  • Coordinate crisis communications to maintain trust and consistency during organizational changes.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized repository of NIIT’s historical and current content, including news articles, videos, documents, and images, ensuring accessibility for strategic communication, storytelling, and archival purposes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mass communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with digital workplace tools (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and multimedia content creation.
  • Proven ability to measure the impact of internal communications through analytics.
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with a creative flair.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Experience in fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture through communication.
