About the Role

 

The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the executive leadership, supporting decision-making, driving cross-functional initiatives, and enabling organizational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and culture while fostering innovation and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Partnering

 

  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute organizational strategy.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

 

Business & Financial Leadership

 

  • Support P&L oversight with analytical rigor and business acumen.
  • Drive efficiency, monitor business performance, and provide actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Alignment

 

  • Facilitate collaboration across NIIT University, Digital, Enterprise Learning, and other business units.
  • Build trust and influence across dispersed senior leaders to ensure seamless orchestration of priorities.

 

Change Management & Digital Transformation

 

  • Lead technology-driven initiatives that enhance agility and scalability.
  • Implement processes and systems that align with NIITs digital-first vision.

 

Leadership Enablement

 

  • Prepare executive presentations, communications, and reports for board and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic insights and business cases for growth initiatives, including inorganic opportunities.

 

Organizational Culture & Communication

 

  • Act as a cultural integrator, helping navigate nuances across teams.
  • Ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment in internal communication at all levels.

Experience and Qualification

 

  • 3-5 years of experience, with exposure to P&L management or strategic projects preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams or driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Digital native, with proven ability to adapt to and drive technology-enabled change.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority and build trust across senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in corporate communication dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Deep business acumen with an innate understanding of growth levers.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution capabilities through past projects or business success.
  • Maturity to navigate corporate culture and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
