Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deep Consumer Understanding: Develop a profound understanding of our target consumer segments – their needs, motivations, pain points, and aspirations within the education and training landscape. Translate these insights into actionable strategies.
  • Competitive Landscape Mastery: Maintain a sharp awareness of the competitive offering, identifying opportunities and threats, and informing our strategic direction to maintain a leading edge.
  • Value Proposition Development: Drive cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Curriculum, Technology, etc.) to develop and refine winning value propositions that resonate with our target consumers and differentiate us in the market.
  • Matrix Organization Agility: Effectively navigate and collaborate within a matrix organizational structure, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across different teams to achieve category goals.
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement: Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that deliver ambitious acquisition targets and revenue goals.
  • End-to-End Customer Experience Ownership: Own the entire customer journey, from initial acquisition through to alumni engagement, ensuring a seamless and positive experience at every touchpoint. Identify and implement strategies to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track performance rigorously, analyze results, and implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute short-term and long-term category strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in category management, product marketing, or a related field, ideally within the consumer-facing education and training sector.
  • Consumer-Centricity: A proven track record of deeply understanding consumer needs and translating those insights into successful offerings.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop effective go-to-market plans.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams in a matrix environment.
  • Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve and exceed targets, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Customer Experience Champion: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and maximizing customer lifetime value.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Location: Willingness to work from our Gurugram office.
