TRAINING CONSULTANT
Japan
Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional and deeply passionate AI Fundamentals Trainer to spearhead a pivotal educational initiative. This role requires a skilled technologist, and an inspiring mentor. The candidate will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of demystifying Artificial Intelligence for a cohort of bright, eager minds with no prior background in the field.
As the AI Fundamentals Trainer, your responsibilities will be multifaceted, demanding a blend of pedagogical expertise, technical acumen, and exceptional communication skills. You will own the entire lifecycle of the training delivery, from classroom preparation to post-course feedback.
Masterful Curriculum Delivery and Facilitation
Your primary responsibility is to bring the "AI Fundamentals & Application" curriculum to life. This is a five-day, 40-hour intensive program that requires more than just lecturing. It requires creating an engaging, interactive, and psychologically safe learning environment where beginners feel empowered to ask questions and experiment.
-
- Instruction modality: Instructor will lead 8 hours of instruction each day, breaking down complex AI concepts into digestible, intuitive modules. You must be a master of analogy, storytelling, and real-world examples to connect abstract theories to the learners' potential work and daily lives.
- Skills:
- The Foundations. What is AI? A brief history. The difference between AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Rule-based systems vs. learning systems. The ethical considerations and societal impact of
AI.
-
-
- Understanding Large Language Models (LLMs). How do models like ChatGPT work (at a high, conceptual level)? What are tokens, parameters, and training data? Introduction to the concept of
-
"Prompt Engineering."
-
-
- Practical Prompt Engineering. Deep dive into crafting effective prompts. Zero-shot, few-shot prompting. The role of context, persona, and constraints. Using ChatGPT for summarization,
-
translation, and analysis.
-
-
- AI for Productivity. Applying ChatGPT to common business tasks: drafting emails, generating reports, brainstorming ideas, creating presentation outlines, and even generating simple code snippets or
-
formulas. This day is heavily focused on practical, hands-on application.
-
-
- Synthesis and the Broader AI Ecosystem. Review of key concepts. Introduction to the concept of "agents" (definition and high-level purpose only, as per course constraints). A look at the future of AI.
-
Final Q&A and capstone exercises to solidify the three core learning outcomes.
Educational Qualification
Skills
Experience
-
- Comparative Knowledge: Being able to intelligently answer questions like, "How is this different from the Copilot I have in Teams?" is crucial. You should understand the conceptual similarities (both are LLM- powered assistants) and the practical differences (e.g., integration, data sources, specific use cases).
-
- Strategic Positioning: Awareness of Copilot allows you to position the ChatGPT training effectively. You can frame it as teaching foundational AI interaction skills that are transferable to *any* generative AI tool, including Copilot. This enhances the strategic value of the course and manages student expectations. You are teaching the "how-to-drive" skill, not just how to operate one specific car.
