Position: Technical Consultant (Azure)

Duration: 6 Month

The Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating high-quality training content for customers adopting or expanding their use of Microsoft Azure. The role requires deep technical expertise in Azure services combined with strong instructional design and communication skills to translate complex concepts into effective learning materials. 

Educational Qualification

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer (nice to have)

Key Responsibilities

Training Content Development

• Design and develop end-to-end Azure training content, including:
• Instructor-led training (ILT)
• Self-paced learning modules
• Hands-on labs and demos
• Assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks
• Align content with customer requirements, learning objectives, and skill levels (foundational to advanced).
• Map training materials to Microsoft Azure best practices, reference architectures, and (where applicable) Microsoft Learn or certification objectives.

Technical Expertise

• Provide subject matter expertise across core Azure domains, including (but not limited to):
• Azure Fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Compute (VMs, App Services, AKS)
• Networking (VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers)
• Storage (Blob, File, Disk, Backup)
• Security & Identity (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud)
• Governance (Policies, Blueprints, Landing Zones)
• Monitoring & Operations (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Validate technical accuracy and relevance of all training materials.

Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with customers, architects, and delivery teams to understand training goals and target audiences.
• Customize training content based on industry, use cases, and customer cloud maturity.
• Incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness.

Delivery Support (Optional / As Needed)

• Deliver or co-deliver training if needed for internal team.
• Support trainers by providing technical walkthroughs and lab guidance.
• Act as a technical escalation point during training delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (typically 5+ years).
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform) is a plus.

Training & Communication Skills

• Demonstrated experience creating technical training or enablement content.
• Ability to explain complex cloud concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong presentation and documentation skills.
