Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Technology Leader to join our team. This role is critical in enhancing our customer journey on our online platforms, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for our users. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and managing B2C business platform and possess multifunctional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies to enhance the customer journey on our online platform.
- Design, manage, and optimize our existing platform, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, sales, and customer service to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Drive innovation by staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve our platform and integrate with existing business systems
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that supports NIIT Digital's strategic goals and customer-centric approach.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and oversee the technical aspects of the implementation.
- Manage and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate platform performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Candidate Requirement
- Profound knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS platforms, essential for managing and optimizing the company's tech resources.
- Experience in scaling high traffic systems - ensuring the performance and reliability of the platform by understanding load balancing, databases, caching, server optimization, and other related aspects.
- Cost optimization skills, to manage technology budget planning and control cloud costs effectively.
- An understanding of security and privacy regulations to ensure the platform is compliant and secures the trust of its customers.
- Familiarity with creating a 'mobile-first' experience, enabling the platform to deliver consistent experiences across all devices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Word press or similar CMS, Java, Node.js, React.js, .Net and frameworks enabling you to effectively lead the team of developers and participate in code reviews.
- Working knowledge with Lead Square or similar CRM, crucial for managing customer relationships and handling sales data.
- Understanding of finance processes in retail operations, essential for finance system handling.
- Familiarity with SEO and Page Speed, essential for optimizing websites for visibility and user experience.
- Familiarity with agile practices is crucial to keep pace with rapidly changing requirements and to ensure continuous delivery of value. This includes expertise in Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile methods.
- Strong understanding of testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the platform. You should also understand automated testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
- You should have experience in developing and implementing strategies to reduce the time it takes to deliver products/features to the market. This includes agile and lean methodologies, DevOps practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and other strategies to accelerate product development cycles.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Overall work experience of over 15 years. Has proven experience in designing and managing large-scale B2C business platforms.
