Job Summary
Context and purpose
Client is rolling out a consistent, group-wide leadership development program for frontline supervisors from 2026. The program aims to build a safe, skilled, and high-performing supervisor cohort across the company. It supports the company’s objectives of people and safety first, and operational excellence, by embedding consistent leadership expectations and practices across all product groups and assets.
We are seeking external facilitators to support the delivery of this program who have the capabilities outlined below.

- Demonstrates authenticity, humility, and confidence – someone who 'gets it' and doesn’t come across as overly corporate or theoretical.
Experience
Experience
- Relevant industry experience
- Background working in, or facilitating programs within, the mining or heavy industry sector (e.g. mining, construction, energy, manufacturing, etc.)
- Understanding of the unique challenges, processes, and terminology relevant to the industry.
- Familiarity with safety-critical environments and operational constraints.
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma/business improvement is desirable.
- Extensive facilitation experience
- Has been a leadership development facilitator for at least 2 years.
- Experience delivering programs focused on behavioural change, not just knowledge transfer.
- Experience in providing feedback on overarching themes raised and recommendations for the continuous improvement of the programs.
- Leadership / supervisory experience
- Has been a leader of a team.
Skills and certifications
- Skilled in adult learning principles and experiential learning techniques to engage participants and achieve learning outcomes.
- Ability to adapt facilitation style to suit different learning preferences and literacy levels.
- Ability to manage group dynamics, resistance, and challenging behaviours.
- DiSC certified (or regionally specified tool if advised in intake form).
- Ability to coach frontline leaders based on 180-degree assessment feedback
- Effective communication skills in English, as well as the requested local delivery language.
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, co-facilitators, SME’s and program participants to foster collaboration, trust and engagement.
