Job Title:  TRAINING CONSULTANT

Role: Technical Bootcamp Facilitator – FDE L200 (Application Modernization)

Objective:

Deliver a 5-day virtual, hands-on bootcamp on application modernization for engineers, architects, and consultants, covering mainframe (IBM Z) to cloud transformation using Azure and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical training sessions on modernization, cloud, and AI-driven delivery
• Lead live demos, labs, and troubleshooting during sessions
• Manage cohorts (up to 50 participants) and ensure engagement
• Coach teams through a capstone project and evaluate outcomes
• Continuously improve content and delivery based on feedback

Core Skills Required:

• IBM Mainframe (z/OS, COBOL, CICS, Db2)
• Azure Cloud (AKS, App Services, DevOps, Data services)
• Knowledge of AWS/GCP (optional)
• Application Modernization (6R/7R, microservices, containerization)
• CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Git
• Basic understanding of Agentic AI / LLMs

Additional Skills:

• Strong technical training & facilitation skills
• Ability to debug issues live during sessions
• Experience with modernization tools and DevOps practices

Preferred Background:

• Experience in technical training / bootcamp delivery
• Background in cloud transformation, architecture, or consulting
• Exposure to mainframe-to-cloud migration projects
