Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Management Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be integral to the vendor management lifecycle, managing end-to-end vendor registrations, onboarding processes, background verifications, and ongoing relationship management. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), tracking contract renewals, and addressing the operational needs of our vendor management function w.r.t vendor billings and payments.
Key Responsibilities
• Vendor Registrations and Onboarding: Manage the entire vendor registration and onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation, compliance checks, and approvals are in place.
• Background Verifications: Conduct thorough vendor background verifications and ensure all vendors meet company standards and compliance requirements.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, fostering positive relationships to enhance collaboration, service quality, and efficiency.
• Compliance with SLAs: Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with SLAs and take corrective actions as necessary to address any issues.
• Contract Renewals: Assist in managing and tracking vendor contract renewals, coordinating with internal stakeholders to review and renew contracts in a timely manner.
• Operational Support and Issue Resolution: Work closely with vendors and internal teams to optimize performance, address operational challenges, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Data Management and Tracking: Maintain up-to-date records and trackers across the vendor management domain, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
Educational Qualification
- Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or related operational roles.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
o Proficiency in data management and use of tracking systems (e.g., Excel, vendor management platforms)
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
o Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
o Knowledge of vendor compliance and risk management practices
o Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
