Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Business Finance to support financial planning, management reporting, business analysis, budgeting, and financial control activities. The role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders to provide meaningful insights, ensure financial accuracy, monitor performance against plans, and support process improvement and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound business understanding, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, management reporting, and business reviews.
Conduct detailed analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Regularly monitor budget vs. actual performance and proactively identify potential risks, variances, and opportunities.
Highlight financial issues in advance and work with stakeholders on timely corrective actions.
Ensure accuracy and compliance of transfer pricing transactions across NIIT group entities.
Prepare accurate and customized financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
Support business leaders with financial insights for planning and decision-making.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and financial automation.
Support audit, compliance, and month/quarter/year-end closing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and financial drivers.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assigned financial reports and analysis.

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and accounting fundamentals.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong PowerPoint and financial presentation skills.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends and insights.
Understanding of financial processes, controls, and audit requirements.
Exposure to finance process automation will be an advantage.
