Job overview
The Project Manager – Transition supports the planning, execution, and delivery of transition projects within a managed services environment. This role works closely with Transition Managers and cross functional teams to ensure smooth migration of processes/services with minimal disruption and adherence to timelines, quality, and client expectations.
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and trackers
- Coordinate transition activities across multiple workstreams
- Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables
- Support resource planning, scheduling, and effort tracking
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and frameworks
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, IT, HR, finance) and client stakeholders
- Support governance calls, status meetings, and reporting Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies effectively
- Identify potential risks and escalate appropriately
- Support issue resolution and mitigation tracking
- Prepare daily/weekly status reports and dashboard
- Support audits and governance requirements
- Assist in process migration into managed services environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization
- Support automation and transformation initiatives
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required
Experience
- 7 to 9 years of experience
