Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, certified SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) professional to join our HR Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing our global Core HR system of record. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling high-volume data environments, managing localized compliance configurations (including India and International regional settings), and ensuring absolute data integrity across our integrated HXM ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Execute end-to-end configuration changes in Employee Central, including Foundation Objects, Generic Objects, Picklists, Business Rules, and Workflow routing templates.
- Data Integrity & Clean-up: Take ownership of data maintenance and audit protocols across global Business Service Centers (BSC). Partner with business units to manage high-volume data cleanups, ensuring fields like nationality, date of birth, and statutory identifiers are accurate and secure.
- Module Integration: Maintain and support the seamless data integration from Recruiting Management (RCM) and Onboarding (ONB) into Employee Central to ensure a frictionless "Hire-to-Retire" data flow.
- Compliance & Localization Support: Configure and manage country-specific fields and statutory localization requirements (e.g., aligning system architecture with changes like the New Wage Code or regional labor mandates).
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP): Maintain and audit the security matrix and RBP configurations within SuccessFactors to safeguard sensitive employee information.
- User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a tier-2/3 technical support touchpoint for HR business partners, resolving complex system issues, updating UI screen personas via BCUI, and supporting standard summary page views.
- Release Management: Assist in evaluating and implementing SuccessFactors bi-annual upgrades, assessing features to continuously enhance system adoption.
Educational Qualification
- Certification: Active SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Application Associate certification is mandatory.
Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of dedicated, hands-on configuration experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Technical Proficiency: * Strong understanding of XML (for Data Model updates) and Meta Data Framework (MDF).
- Expertise in configuring Business Rules, Workflows, and Custom Fields.
- Solid grasp of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) logic and execution.
- Integration Awareness: Proven understanding of how EC consumes data from RCM/ONB and pushes data to downstream systems (Payroll/LMS).
