Job overview

The Assistant Manager – Treasury is responsible for supporting the organization's treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, liquidity planning, investments, debt administration, and financial risk management. The role ensures efficient fund management, compliance with treasury policies, and timely execution of banking transactions while providing financial insights to support business decisions.

 

Roles and responsibilities

    1. Operations:
      1. Cash flow Forecasting & Monitoring: Subsidiaries and Group 
      2. Banking operations and control – incld Account opening, closure etc
      3. Timely submission of information / documents / compliance requirements to Banks / AD’s
    2. Liquidity & Working Capital Management:
        1. Coordination with the Business Finance Heads to optimize commercial cash flows & working capital    
        2. Manage treasury funds through robust treasury strategy / policy and minimize idle cash
    3. Investment Management:
        1. Manage short, medium and long-term investments
        2. Investment of surplus funds on daily basis
        3. Coordination with Investment advisors / fund managers for review of portfolio and timely investment decisions
    4. Forex Management:
        1. Handling of Foreign Inwards
        2. Managing softex with Banks
    5. Corporate Governance & Compliance:
        1. Implement and manage treasury policies and procedures
        2. Timely compliance information to regulators including Authorized Dealers / RBI
    6. Accounting and Taxation:
        1. Proper accounting of Investments and Bank charges
        2. Providing information for tax related matters
        3. Bank reconciliations of timely basis
    7. Stakeholder Relationship:
        1. MIS: Provide performance and risk analytics to Management

 

Educational Qualification

 

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience

 

  • 2 to 3 years of experience
