Job overview

The Assistant Manager – Client Sourcing will drive client acquisition for learning and development (L&D) solutions, focusing on building a strong pipeline and supporting revenue growth. This role requires a mix of strategic sourcing, consultative selling, and stakeholder management within the corporate training and learning delivery space.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute client sourcing strategies to generate leads for learning delivery services
  • Identify and engage prospective clients across corporates, institutions, and enterprises
  • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline aligned with business targets
  • Conduct need analysis discussions with clients to understand L&D requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (learning delivery, instructional design, operations) to design customized solutions
  • Lead client presentations, proposals, and commercial discussions
  • Support deal closures and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
  • Track and analyze sourcing performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics
  • Mentor junior team members or executives in lead generation and outreach (if applicable)
  • Stay updated on industry trends in corporate learning, upskilling, and digital learning
  • Proven track record in lead generation and revenue contribution
  • Strong understanding of corporate learning solutions and training delivery models
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with execution focus
  • Data-driven approach to pipeline and performance tracking

Educational Qualification

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required

Experience

 

  • 5 to 7 years of experience
