Job overview

The Assistant Manager – Finance Operations will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate financial processing, timely reporting, compliance, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, collections, and payments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and operational dashboards.
  • Monitor accounts receivable/payable and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and drive automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with business teams, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.
  • Review transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Guide team members and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial/accounting systems.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
 
 
 

 

Educational Qualification

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree (preferred)

Experience

 

  • 6 to 8 years of experience
